At Virgin Interactive, I was a background and character animator on Toonstruck, an animated 2d adventure game for the pc, starring Christopher Lloyd.  I composited all of the video of Christopher Lloyd into the cartoon backgrounds and made him interact with the scenery.  I often had to manipulate the video frames to make it work.  I did a small bit of the design work on that project.

We hired out two different animation houses to handle the extensive character animation that the game required, but as the get-everything-done artist, I was often left with messy frames to clean up and extra scenes to animate characters for.  I used both traditional animation and several computer packages.

The game was cut in half from its original size just a few months from beta, and we were promised at that time that we would be able to use all our work for a sequel.  That never happened and some of the seens I show here cannot be found in the game.  When I finished all the video compositing, character animation, and background animation, I did all the foriegn-language art changes and the Toonstruck Themepack for the Toonstruck Website.
